Need to present a toast at a wedding? here are some tips from Harry Kingston, DTM from West Carleton Toastmasters Club.
- It's best if you have a personal relationship with the person you are toasting. Why were you asked to toast?
- Toast in good taste. Eye contact with the individual you are toasting. Avoid drinking any alcohol until after you present your Toast. Keep it brief, no more than 3-5 minutes.
- After the storiy, ask the audience, "Please rise as we Toast the bride, Debbie... To Debbie!"
